When signing up you must supply a valid email address. The forums have been set to be self-validating and if you don't supply a valid email address you will not receive the email that tells you how to activate your membership.

This measure is designed to prevent automative signup by bots and thus help to prevent spam and other malicious things on the forums.

The email you receive provides a specific code for your membership and without it you will not be able to post or access the Members Only Forums.

If you have any problems activating your membership despite having followed the procedure, please contact a member of the Admin team using the email address that you supplied. The Admin Team can then process your activation manually.

To find out if/when this has been done, either look to see if your username is given as the newest member or try signing in. Once signed in if you can see the Members Only Forums then your membership is fully active.
