Astronomers call it a Transit of Venus, but astrologically Venus and the Sun are transitting all the time.
The astronomical event of June 8 2004 is in both astrological and astronomical terms an Eclipse by Venus of the Sun. Much like solar and lunar eclipses, the eclipse astrologically puts the Sun in the shade. Therefore is it as though Venus takes on a more prominent role than the sun, overshadowing whatever the sun represents. This occurs at approximately 17.5 degrees of Gemini at approximately 09:10am British Summer Time (08:10am GMT) Aspects between the Sun/Venus: Trine Neptune Opposition Pluto Moon Void of Course at 29 degrees Aquarius until it moves into Pisces approximately two hours later and comes into conjunction with Uranus. |
